Liggett Trust Lends a Hand

The Liggett Trust Fund helps Grosse Ile low income students pay for school related needs.  The fund is available for students to help with school supplies, clothing, and medical needs.  The fund is available for students to help with school supplies, clothing, and medical needs, etc.  The fund is generated from a trust left to Grosse Ile Schools and Trenton Schools by Louis Liggett.  The Liggett Trust Fund also provides post high school scholarships based on student need.  Both high school seniors and postgraduates from Grosse Ile are eligible to apply.  Further information on the Liggett Trust Fund is available from school principal's, district social worker, counselors, and school website.
