
The Men's Glee Club introduces the adolescent male singer to basic vocal techniques, such as breathing, vocal tone, proper placement and registration, balance, blend, holding on to a vocal part, score reading, including rhythmic notation and pitch reading through solfeggio; an exposure to a variety of choral literature, secular and sacred, serious, folk, rock, pop and Broadway music; and a sense of the individual's contribution to a group goal. Rehearsal and performance attendance at school concerts/events and choral festivals is required, and is reflected in the student's grade.

The Madrigal Singers perform various challenging literature from Classical to Modern styles that emphasize vocal expertise and excellence. Basic vocal techniques and music reading ability are a prerequisite for the course. Performances at school and out of school are more rigorous than the two glee courses and are a mandatory portion of the curriculum that enhance the education of the students.
