The Mission of Grosse Ile Township Schools, in cooperation with students, parents and community, is to teach the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary for every student to lead a successful life.

We have a commendable record of high achievement; a large percentage of high school students involved with Advanced Placement classes and/or earning college credit; over 96% of our graduates go on to higher education opportunities; over 70% of our students in grades 6-12 participate in a variety of extra-curricular experiences; for the past three year, our students in grades 3-8 have brought home the majority of awards in the Downriver Science Fair; and the list goes on and on...
As a school district we are dedicated to learning. We recognize that this community has high expectations and is truly a "community of learners." As such, there is an identifiable and enthusiastic commitment to learning and caring that is the shared responsibility of parents, staff, students and the community. Every student is gifted with special talents, abilities and matters to all of us. We take great pride in seeing our students succeed and grow. Learning in Grosse Ile Township Schools is continuous and relevant. No other place has the unique characteristics, achievements and community support that Grosse Ile enjoys. This is the Grosse Ile Advantage.
"According to college admission directors, Grosse Ile consistently graduates quality students prepared for the college experience."
