Parent and Teacher (PAT) Booster Club

Grosse Ile Who We Are:

Grosse Ile PAT Booster Club is a membership organization of parents, teachers, and administrators with the common goal of  raising funds to finance supplemental enrichment programming and other items to our elementary schools as deemed important and necessary by the membership on the advisement of our principals and administrators.  We provide supplementary resources for a wide variety of programs. 

Grosse Ile PAT Mission Statement:

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community and to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. 

• To develop between educators of our township and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.

• The PAT Booster Club is proud to support our kids, our teachers, and our schools in practical and enriching ways.  We provide enrichment programs to supplement your child’s educational experience as well as elementary school wish list items which may not be provided for in the district’s annual budget. 

• PAT accomplishes this through the tireless work of many volunteers and committees which make up the Grosse Ile PAT.  

Grosse Ile PAT Booster Club sponsors:

• Parent’s Night at Meridian and Parke Lane in the Fall

• Enrichment programming throughout the school year including guest authors and illustrators, symphony performances, science related programming character and  leadership building programs

• Arts Day (Pizza, Picasso, & Poets) in the Spring

• Holiday Gift Shop

• Curriculum support

• Capital and Technology support

• Field Trip Funding

• Giving Tree Holiday Classroom Gift Program

• Summer Library Program
