GENERAL CLASS PROCEDURES

  • When you walk in the door, sit in your assigned seat.
  • Have all materials (pencil, paper, folder, planner) with you when you arrive.
  • Moving around the room (i.e. sharpening pencils, turning in work, etc.) should not be done during a lecture or when the class is engaged in an activity.
  • Students are discouraged from leaving the classroom, and will not be permitted to do so when it is disruptive to the class. NO STUDENT WILL BE PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE CLASSROOM WITHOUT HIS OR HER PLANNER. You will be allowed five passes for the semester any unused can be turned in for extra credit at the end of the semester.
  • If a student is absent, it is his or her responsibility to get the make up work and complete it in a timely manner.
  • If a student misses a quiz or test, arrangements to make it up should be done as soon as possible. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO MAKE UP TEST/QUIZZES AFTER SCHOOL.
