Value

  • 25 points extra credit per card marking up to a 2% increase of card marking grade!!!
  • A BIG surprise during your final exam.

Details

  • 3 ring binder, 2-3 inch recommended.
  • On the cover...
    • Your name and hour in large print and an original scientist drawing by you.  You may create it on a computer but you must be the artist.
  • A fully labeled table of contents.
    • Every chapter must be separate.
    • Every page in the binder must be named and in order.
      • Example below
  • All pages must be numbered, in order and match the Table of Contents.
    • *hint: Making sure you label the assignments makes this a very easy task.
  • 22 MAIN sections... one for each chapter. Textbooks
    • Your choice for organizing each chapter in the books.  *hint: I recommend sub-sections
  • VERY IMPORTANT!!!  The Binder must be kept up all year in order to get credit.  Do not try and throw it all together the night before it is due.  I will check periodically to make sure you are keeping up with it.  If you do not have any prior checks you will not receive credit.
  • VERY IMPORTANT!!!  In order to get extra credit the second card marking you must have received credit for the binder the first card marking and so on for the 3rd and 4th.  This is an on going assignment not one that can be picked up halfway through the year.
  • VERY IMPORTANT!!!  The checklist must be turned in with the Binder in order to get credit.  That is what I use to determine your grade.  It also guarantees your prior checks have been recorded.
  • VERY IMPORTANT!!!  Most of the pages must be in the binder in order to get credit.
  • VERY IMPORTANT!!!  I will not accept incomplete binders.
