Welcome to the Grosse Ile Elementary School Band Website!

        Meridian Elementary and Parke Lane Elementary make up the Grosse Ile
 Elementary Bands. These two separate groups give 5th grade students the
 opportunity to learn a traditional concert band instrument. With instruments from  
 the woodwind, brass and percussion sections, our young musicians have had many
 years of success building a strong band program here at Grosse Ile. The goal of the
 Elementary Bands is to learn the basics of playing a musical instrument, working as
 a team, and preparing for future success at the Middle School level. Thank you for
