Moving Forward 

The Music Boosters are moving forward in a continued effort to support the music programs, both vocal and instrumental in our district. 

From assisting the marching band to field their show this year to supplying baked goods and physical support at the Collage Concert we are thee to try and make a difference. 

Thanks to all the parental and community support both financially (don’t forget to renew your membership) and physically (Pasta on the Rocks and IslandFest are just around the corner).  Take a look at the new revised Booster calendar for upcoming events. 

The Boosters Annual Meeting will be held June 5^th at the High School.  Join us to welcome the new board and thank the outgoing executive board for a job well done. 

Music Boosters was founded in 1969 by a group of band parents looking to support the instrumental program at Grosse Ile High School. Band Boosters as it was known, held cabarets and other fundraisers to purchase uniforms and instruments for the Grosse Ile High School Band.  As time went on, the name was changed to Music Boosters, and financial support was extended to all music programs, K-12.

Since its inception, Music Boosters has purchased uniforms, instruments, choir robes, subsidized trips and given thousands of dollars in scholarships to students in the Grosse Ile School District.
