Mrs. Sindone currently runs the program for children with Emotional Impairments. She co-teaches 8th grade math and English and also supports 6th and 7th grade students. She also teaches a study skills and social skills class. The main goal of the program is to provide support to students that struggle with managing their emotions. The program teaches and promotes positive behavior change through daily social skill lessons, positive rewards, consequences and interventions. The program is designed to promote these skills while also giving the students the opportunity to be included in the general education setting. She strives to provide a balance of caring, consistency and structure within the program. Mrs. Sindone believes that all children can be successful no matter what the obstacle is.
