Originally from Troy, Michigan, I graduated from Avondale High School in 2003.  While at Avondale I participated in varsity golf, hockey, and baseball.  After high school I attended Eastern Michigan University and student taught at Grosse Ile Middle School and Parke Lane Elementary.  I had a wonderful experience at both schools and missed my time away from the district.  After graduating with honors in 2007 with my B.S. I obtained a job at Detroit Community High School where I taught Physical Education and Health.

  I am now married to my wonderful wife of two years, Jessica, and we currently reside in Canton.  In my free time I still play golf, hockey, and softball, hang out with my wife and dog Zetty (named after Henrik Zetterberg of the Detroit Red Wings) and work on our new house.  I am very excited to officially be a part of the district and ready to have a great year!
