Facts About the Teacher:

• Started teaching on Grosse Ile since 1994
• Undergrad degree in education with a minor in social science and major in science at Eastern Michigan University
• Grad degree in education at University of Michigan-Dearborn
• taught 2nd grade, 4th grade,  5th grade, worked as Media Specialist in both elementary buildings, and currently teach 6th grade Geography

Philosophy:

• school curriculum is the map of the academics taught in class

• strengthen organizational skills

• develop time management skills

• foster independence

• parent, administration, and teacher support is the key to a child's success

• never give up, especially when something is hard

• integrity develops character

• character along with knowledge and drive = success in my classroom

It doesn't matter if learning is hard or easy. If you're willing to work, I know you'll succeed in my class.
