The Media Center supports student learning at Grosse Ile High School.  Ms. Timm collaborates with the teachers to offer support to the staff and students.  The Media Center is a great place to go for research advice, project sources, and great read recommendations. 

 

Mission Statement 

The mission of the library media program is to ensure that the students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. 

  

This mission is accomplished:

 

• By providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats.

• By providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas.

• By working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.

17 student workstation computers

A copy machine for use at 10. cents per page

Loan Periods:

ALL BOOKS : two weeks

REFERENCE MATERIALS : over night
