WELCOME TO 5TH GRADE!

    My name is Derek Kruslemsky and I have been teaching 5th grade in Grosse Ile since 1996.   I completed my undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with minors in Science, Math, and Physical Education.  My graduate work was completed at the University of Michigan where I earned an MA in Elementary Curriculum.

     Currently, I teach Math, Language, Spelling, and Science to my homeroom class at Meridian.  My students see Mr. Durnian for Social Studies and Ms. Timm for Reading.  

     I am very excited to work with your children this year.  Their academic, social, and emotional growth throughout their 5th grade year is truly amazing to witness!
