My name is Jackie Timm, and I graduated from MSU with a degree in International Relations in 1994.  I received my teaching certificate from MSU in 1996.  I began my teaching career by teaching middle school English and social studies in Flat Rock.  I returned to school at Wayne State University and received a master's degree in Library and Information Sciences.  I was hired by Grosse Ile in January 2000 as an Elementary Media Specialist.  I have run the libraries and taught GI students K-12. 

This is my first year teaching 5th grade, and I couldn't be happier to be here.  I will be teaching language, math, spelling and reading to my homeroom class.  My students will see Mr. Durnian for social studies and Mr. Kruslemsky for science. 

Fifth grade has always been one of my favorite ages to work with.  I'm looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning with my students!
