A Little bit about me…..

   I graduated from Oakland University with a BS in Early Childhood Development and a MA in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Wayne State University.

   Currently, I work at Parke Lane Elementary and Grosse Ile High School.  I service students with speech and language disorders. These may include articulation, auditory comprehension or, processing deficits and expressive language deficits.  I also work with students to teach them strategies to increase their success in the classroom, for example study strategies, visual and verbal cues and the use of a written and oral tool called the Expanding Expression Tool.  These have been instrumental increasing students language skills and generalization into the classroom

I am currently continuing to take graduate courses to increase my knowledge and experience with all students in the public school system.
