A Little Bit About Me …I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1995 with a degree in education and special education. The summer immediately following I was given the opportunity to teach in Grosse Ile.  I began teaching at the Middle School and have taught various subjects/grades as well as special education. I have greatly enjoyed the variety as it has kept me on my toes.

I am currently teaching special education in the Resource Room at Parke Lane Elementary.

I have received my master’s degree from the University Michigan in Learning Disabilities. I have also attended graduate school in Marygrove  and Madonna University to further my education in the areas of reading and writing instruction.
