Grosse Ile Township Schools is pleased to announce our 1-to-1 device program with the distribution of Chromebooks to students for the 2020-2021 school year. Students eligible to participate in the 1-to-1 take-home program include all 9th thru 12th graders.

The timeline for their program participation will vary by grade and school building. The baseline Chromebook User Agreement can be found External Linkhere.

In order to participate in the take-home program, one and only one of the following liability payment option must be chosen for each school year:

Students/Parents accept responsibility for any/all the following (Including students/parents eligible for free/reduced lunch):

  • In the event of device damage, out-of-warranty repair or a police-recognized theft, a deductible of $30 would be paid

  • In the event of loss with or without police report and approved claim, a deductible of $100 would be paid.

  • Families are also held responsible for lost or damaged device accessories (i.e. power adapter, protective shell, case).
