Starting Off Right

Grosse Ile Township Schools offers parents and children multiple options for this most important initial education experience.  Currently the following Kindergarten options are available:

- All Day Kindergarten (must be 5 years old by December 1st of the school year)
- Young 5's All Day Kindergarten Program (must be 5 years old by December 1st of the school year)

All Day Kindergarten

Parke Lane Elementary (Kdg - 2nd Grade)

An all-day Kindergarten experience is also offered at Parke Lane, our early elementary building.  Kindergarten Round-Up is generally held in March of the school year.  At this time parents receive their registration paperwork.

Young 5's Kindergarten Program

Parke Lane Elementary (Kdg - 2nd Grade)

In addition to the above experiences, we offer an all-day Young Five's program.  Deciding exactly when to begin a youngster in Kindergarten is a decision that frequently requires insights from both teachers and parents.  Young Five's is yet another Kindergarten option for Grosse Ile families as they decide what is best for their child.
