For teacher appreciation week student council is having the S&J Cupcake trailer at the school TODAY during both lunches.

This is Mental Health Awareness spirit week. TOMORROW is Tropical and Groovy Tuesday. Wear island print shirts and tropical wear or tie-dye to represent peace, love, and inclusivity. A coping skill is to sit in the sun to absorb vitamin D for a boost in mood and mood regulation.
There will be a Lunch and Learn TOMORROW with our Grosse Ile Township Schools' Chief Financial Officer, Mrs. Linda Drzyzga, who will talk about accounting and financial careers. Bring your lunch and learn more about finance and using math in the workplace. Everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle to win a lunch at Grotto.
Attention SENIORS: Your Senior Walk permission slip is due Friday, May 17. You MUST have a parent signature unless you signed an Age of Majority form in the office and it was approved.
For the next two weeks, AP exams will be taking place in the math classrooms. Only students with lockers in this hallway are permitted during testing. Kindly use an alternative route on test days. Signs will indicate when testing is underway.
Congratulations to the following teams on their performances: Varsity tennis won against Allen Park and St. Catherines, lacrosse won against Cass Tech, and crew had a great day at the WyHi Saturday. More details to come. Way to go Red Devils!
