We are proud to celebrate our DCTC Health Science students, HOSA members who will be representing our school at the HOSA State Leadership Conference later this month. These students have demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to pursuing careers in the healthcare field.

HOSA–Future Health Professionals is a nationally recognized student organization that prepares future healthcare leaders through education, competition, and leadership development. Throughout the year, students in the DCTC Health Science program have worked hard to build their knowledge and skills in areas such as patient care, medical terminology, teamwork, and professional communication.

At the State Leadership Conference, students will compete in a variety of healthcare-related events that test both their academic knowledge and hands-on skills. Competitions may include areas such as medical assisting, nursing assisting, CPR/First Aid, health science knowledge, and teamwork-based events. In addition to competing, students will have the opportunity to attend workshops, connect with healthcare professionals, and learn more about future career pathways in the medical field.

Participation in HOSA and the DCTC Health Science program provides students with valuable real-world experiences that prepare them for success in college and future healthcare careers. Their dedication reflects not only their commitment to learning but also their passion for helping others.

We wish our DCTC Health Science students and HOSA members the very best of luck at the state competition. Your hard work and determination make our school proud, and we look forward to celebrating your accomplishments when you return!
