Grosse Ile High School will host Junior Night for the Class of 2027 on April 20th in the GIHS Cafeteria, offering important information and guidance to help juniors and their families prepare for the transition into senior year.
The evening will begin at 5:30 PM with a mandatory meeting for Class of 2027 students participating in the Direct College program, featuring a representative from the University of Michigan–Dearborn. The Direct College program allows students to take college courses on the GIHS campus, and this session will provide important information about program expectations, requirements, and next steps. Students enrolled in Direct College should refer to their email for additional details related to this meeting.
Following the Direct College session, the second portion of the evening will take place from 6:30–7:30 PM and will focus on preparing for senior year. This session is designed to help Class of 2027 students and their families feel confident and informed as they approach their final year of high school. Topics will include important timelines, graduation requirements, college and career planning, and helpful tips to ensure students stay on track for a successful senior year.
