Grosse Ile High School will host Junior Night for the Class of 2027 on Monday, April 20 in the GIHS Cafeteria. This important evening is designed to help juniors and their families prepare for senior year and begin planning for life after graduation.

The evening will begin with a mandatory meeting from 5:30–6:15 PM for Class of 2027 students enrolled in the 2026–2027 Direct College program. During this session, students and families will meet with a University of Michigan–Dearborn representative, who will provide important information about expectations, program details, and next steps. Families participating in Direct College are encouraged to review their email for additional details prior to attending.

Beginning at 6:30 PM, all Class of 2027 students and their families are invited to attend the Preparing for Senior Year session. This presentation will cover important topics such as applying to universities, scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements, timelines, and key steps students should take during their senior year. Families will also receive helpful tips and guidance to ensure students stay on track and feel confident as they enter their final year of high school.

Junior Night is a valuable opportunity for the Class of 2027 to gain important information, ask questions, and feel prepared for the transition into senior year and beyond.

GIHS encourages all juniors and their families to attend and take advantage of this important planning event.
