This year, Grosse Ile High School Student Council is proud to introduce a new Executive Board position dedicated to supporting U-M Mott Children's Hospital. Due to the overwhelming passion and commitment shown by two students, the role has been expanded and shared between Isla Carter and Diana Baydoun, who will serve as our inaugural Mott Children's Hospital Fundraising Chairs.
As Student Council continues to grow its culture of service, Isla and Diana will lead fundraising efforts not only at the high school level but throughout the entire district. Working with students, staff, families, and community partners, they will help organize fundraising events and awareness campaigns that support the incredible work being done at U-M Mott Children's Hospital.
The creation of this position reflects Student Council's commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond our school walls. By expanding fundraising efforts district-wide, we hope to unite all Grosse Ile schools in supporting children and families facing medical challenges.
We are excited to see Isla and Diana bring their creativity, leadership, and passion for service to this new role. Their dedication to helping others embodies the values of Student Council and the spirit of the Grosse Ile community.
Please join us in congratulating Isla Carter and Diana Baydoun as they begin this important work. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make throughout the year.
