Halloween week

Grosse Ile High School is getting into the Halloween spirit next week with Halloween Fest, a week full of festive activities, friendly competition, and opportunities to give back to the community!

Student Council is bringing the Halloween fun to classrooms and hallways with its annual door decorating contest and pumpkin decorating contest. Students and staff are encouraged to show off their creativity, transform classroom doors into Halloween masterpieces, and put their artistic skills to the test with festive pumpkin designs. The contests will bring plenty of school spirit and friendly competition throughout the week.

In addition to the Halloween festivities, the Mott Fundraiser Committee is organizing activities to raise money for C.S. Mott Children's Hospital while helping spread awareness about Down syndrome and ADHD. Throughout the week, students and staff can participate in a variety of activities, including Boo Bags, Halloween-themed games in the Immersion Room, a visit from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, and a Halloween bake sale.

These activities offer students a chance to have fun, connect with classmates, and support a meaningful cause. They also provide opportunities to promote kindness, inclusion, and a better understanding of the unique ways people learn and experience the world.

From creative classroom decorations to fundraising activities, Halloween Fest is a wonderful example of how Grosse Ile High School comes together to build school spirit while making a positive difference.

Thank you to Student Council, the Mott Fundraiser Committee, staff, and students for helping make Halloween Fest a fun, memorable, and meaningful week at Grosse Ile High School!
