The PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test will be administered to Juniors on Wednesday, October 18. This exam is the official route of entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program and a pre-test for the SAT and is a voluntary test.
The National Merit Scholarship recognizes and honors the academically talented students of the United States. It conducts nationwide academic scholarship programs and shines a spotlight on brilliant students.
This is the ONLY date this test will be given by GIHS.
· This is a voluntary test – juniors are not required to take it
· Sign up by paying $20 through RevTrak at https://gischools.revtrak.net/class-of-2025/#/list
· The deadline for sign up and payment is Thursday, September 21
· Location of test TBD
· Test will begin at 7:30 sharp and will last approximately 4 hours
· Students taking the test will resume their school day after the test is completed
