Happy Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! Some of our students here at Meridian made cards for the Grosse Ile Police Department to show their appreciation for all they do for our school and community. Happy New Year from Parke Lane Elementary! This morning, we gathered in the gym with Mrs. Sitek to talk about our New Year's Resolutions and set goals for 2024. Students then went back to class to listen to the story, One Word for Kids, and decide on their one word for 2024. Be sure to ask your child what word they picked and what goal they are working on in the new year.
On January 8th let's cheer on Michigan by wearing our U of M gear or maize and blue!

Yesterday The Grosse Ile High School Madrigals Choir sang carols in every classroom at Meridian. The staff and students were in awe with their voices. Thank you so much for taking time to bring this holiday experience to our school!
